What is TruSculpt?

TruSculpt®  is the only non-invasive RF platform to feature a proprietary closed-loop temperature feedback mechanism to ensure that therapeutic temperatures are met, patient comfort is maintained, and clinical efficacy is achieved throughout each fifteen-minute treatment session.

What areas does TruSculpt address?

truSculpt iD is a nonsurgical body contouring procedure that uses monopolar radiofrequency energy to destroy fat cells throughout the entire fat layer, from just below the skin down to the muscle. It's commonly used to sculpt the abdomen, love handles, thighs, under the chin, and the upper arms.

  • How does Trusculpt work?
    TruSculpt® uses radiofrequency energy to heat layers of skin to melt fat. Radiofrequency is used to eliminate cellulite and tighten the skin. TruSculpt® penetrates deeper and melts fat all the way down to the muscle.
  • How long does the treatment take?
    Treatment time depends on the area(s) being treated, but typically takes between 15 minutes to an hour per area.
  • When will I see results & how long will they last?
    As the RF energy delivered by TruSculpt® triggers the breakdown of fat cells, the process can take anywhere from a few weeks to a few months. You may begin to see results anytime during that period, possibly even later. Once the fat cells are destroyed, it will never return. Just be aware that surrounding non-treated fat cells may enlarge if there is an increase in bodyweight.
  • Is the treatment painful?
    While the RF energy delivered byTtruSculpt® heats deep layers of skin, the discomfort is extremely tolerable. No pain medication, topical anesthetics, or numbing agents are necessary. The treatment is comparable to a hot stone massage.
  • Is there any downtime?
    There is no downtime after the treatment, and patients can return to normal activities immediately, frequently returning to work following a session.
  • What's the difference between the Trusculpt and Truflex?
